The Big Lake/Princeton boy’s lacrosse took the lead early and never looked back in their 10-7 victory over Becker. The win marked the end of the regular season for the team. 

The Hornets raced out to a commanding 5-1 lead at the end of the first quarter and led the rest of the way. With the team leading 7-2 at halftime, Becker put together a small rally in the third quarter by scoring three goals and narrowing the lead to 8-5. But the Hornets matched them for two goals apiece in the final quarter and held on for the win. 

Next up the team will wait to find out their opponent for the first round of playoffs next Monday.
