The Big Lake Hornet volleyball team picked a pair of Mississippi 8 Conference victories over the last week against Zimmerman and St. Francis. 

On the road last Thursday, the team won a thrilling five-set match against the Thunder. Then they returned home on Tuesday for a dominant sweep over the Fighting Saints. 

The team will travel to Monticello on Thursday and then to Dassel-Cokato for a tournament on Saturday.
