The Hornets gymnasts were dominant in their 136.850-124.725 victory over the Princeton Tigers on Tuesday night. 

Big Lake athletes took the top spot in every event and swept the top three in almost every category. Alli Lu, Britta White, Leah Uphoff, Naomi Huizenga, and Gabby Gardner finished 1-5 in the vault. And in the bars Lu, Addison Doring, Amber Grunewald, and Uphoff took the top four spots. Grunewald also took first in the beam and the floor followed by Lu and White in the latter. 

The Hornet Gymnastics team travelled to Worthington last Saturday for a True Team event where the team placed seventh.  

Last Tuesday the team had a meet against Cambridge-Isanti, which the team lost 140.7-136.975. Three Hornets took second place in their respective events including Britta White in the vault, Amber Grunewald in the floor, and Alli Lu in the beam. Lu also placed third in the all-around category. 

The team now gets a couple weeks off before the postseason begins with sections at Chisago Lakes on February 15.
