The Lady Hornets had two games this past week, both against conference opponents. The team defeated Zimmerman on Monday but fell last Thursday to Princeton. 

Using a 10-point halftime lead, the Hornets cruised to a 62-46 road victory over the Zimmerman Thunder. Ashley Fitzgibbons scored 20 points to lead the team, followed by Rylie Sternquist with 15 and Alexis Moen with 11.

The Hornet girls hosted Princeton last Thursday and fell 61-54, despite leading by nine at halftime. Big Lake led 32-23 at the break, but the tables turned in the second half as the Hornets were outscored by 16 points. Sternquist was the leading scorer for Big Lake with 17 points. Fitzgibbons and Moen added 14 and 10.
