(Editor’s Note: The following information for this article was submitted by a Big Lake family).
McPete’s sponsored 13 young men to play in the 5th Annual Minnesota State Alumni Tournament down in Burnsville, Sept. 23. The McPete’s crew took first place out of 25 teams. They received a handsome trophy and the grand prize of $1,000.
This money was donated to the Big Lake Athletic’s Dept. to be split between boys’ baseball, girls’ golf and boys’ golf per Big Lake’s Athletic Director Jared Matson.
