LONG TIME RESIDENT IS GIFTED SPECIAL QUILT. Kenny Beehler is the kind of guy who is usually doing the giving. He is a very hard worker who always goes above and beyond. Kenny has been employed at Centra Sota for over 30 years and has been very active in the community. He reluctantly took a leave of absence from his job recently, as he is battling cancer. Beehler was on the receiving end of a touching gift at the Apollo vs Becker football game Friday, Oct. 15th. Two of Beehler’s sons are football coaches for Apollo. Michael Beehler is the head coach and Kevin Beehler is the assistant coach. In an especially touching tribute, the Apollo team chose to gift Kenny Beehler with a special quilt at Fridays game as part of their annual cancer awareness program.(Submitted photo.)
