Becker wrestling dominates individual section meet

Seven Becker wrestlers punched their tickets to the state tournament at last weekend’s section individual tournament.

Boston Kuschel (121), Nolan Jurek (127), Bennett Kujawa (133), Landen Kujawa (145), Kaden Nicolas (152), Brayden Boots (160) and Owen Angell (172) were Becker’s state qualifiers.

In the individual tournament last week, Jacob Williams (107) won two out of his four matches; both by pins. Rylan Kujawa (114) took fourth place winning two out of his four matches; one by pin and the other by major decision. Boston Kuschel (121) took first place winning all three of his matches; two by pin and one by major decision. Nolan Jurek (127) took second place in the meet, winning three out of his four matches; one by pin, one by major decision, and one by no contest. 

Bennett Kujawa (133) took first place, winning all four of his matches; two by pin, one by technical fall, and one by major decision. Jake Rosenow (139) won one out of his four matches by decision. Landen Kujawa (145) took first place by winning all three of his matches; all by technical falls. Kaden Nicolas (152) took first place by winning all three of his matches; two by pins and one by technical fall. 

Brayden Boots (160) took first by winning all four of his matches; three by major decision and one by decision. Owen Angell (172) took first place by winning all three of his matches; two by pins and one by decision. Aiden Golley (189) won three out of his five matches; two by technical fall and one by decision.
