The Becker varsity girls basketball team took home the Breakdown Summer Showcase Tournament Championship this past week by beating Willmar, 47-41 in Sauk Rapids in the Cyclones Division.
Becker began the tournament by beating Litchfield in the first round, then Dassel-Cokato in the second. Teams participating were Eden Valley-Watkins, Rocori, Grand Rapids, Brainerd, Willmar, Dassel-Cokato and Litchfield.
The Becker squad was coached by Paul Lindsay.
