With a 3-0 win in the final regular season match over Hutchinson last Thursday, the Becker Bulldog soccer team headed to the section playoffs this week with a Thursday matchup in Alexandria Cardinals.  Becker was seeded #5, while the Cardinals hosted the matchup via their #4 seed.

In the season finale over Hutchinson, Mason Sundberg scored a goal for the Bulldogs, along with Rowan Klug.  Troy Nuest also put together a nice offensive rush that resulted in a Tiger foul, earning the Bulldogs a penalty kick.

Other recent matches included last week’s Senior Night tie against Cambridge-Isanti (1-1) and a 1-3 loss to the Monticello Magic.  Both of Becker’s goals in those contests were scored by Evan Norberg, with his C-I netter coming on a header after a nice assist by Brigham Ebert and his Magic goal coming on a pass from Max Mussner.
