In addition to the state title, the Bulldog Middle School team and numerous individuals qualified for the national tournament which was held in April in Salk Lake City, Utah.

Middle School team members who qualified for Nationals included Mason Lumley, who took second in state in 3-D (284 points), and Jack Glenz (3-D score of 274).
In the High School division, Marissa Hook placed second at state in the 3-D (284) to qualify for Nationals, as well as Isaac Ochs (274 in 3-D), who took 7th to earn a trip to Salt Lake City.
Nationals
“Becker Archery sent both teams to Utah to compete in both Bullseye and 3D competitions,” said Scott Brake, director of the archery program. “A total of 42 archers from Becker traveled to Utah for the tournament.”
Team Results: Intermediate School Bullseye and 3-D divisions - seventh place in both competitions; Middle School Bullseye - 17th place, 3-D - 13th place.
Individual results from the Intermediate team included Hunter Nelson, third in the Nation in Bullseye.
“Hunter took podium honors!” exclaimed Brake. “This is the highest finish by any Bulldog archer at Nationals in the program’s history.”
Reid Hanson took 10th place for the Bulldogs.
In the Middle School division, Mason Lumley took 13th place in the 3-D competition.
For the season, Brake reported 278 archers who participated in the program, making the Bulldogs the largest team in Minnesota and likely the entire United States.
