The Becker Bandits amateur baseball team traveled to Sartell Thursday and stole a win over the Stone Poneys in a Sauk Valley League game, 5-4.

 

It was a nice revenge victory for the local boys following the thrashing they received from Sartell in their second game of the year May 14 by a score of 17-7.

 

Thursday, the Bandits used solid defense and good pitching to steal the game on the road.

 

Becker improves to 5-9 this season. Sartell fell to 3-9. 

 

The Bandits are off for a while with the holiday appraoching. They will return to the diamond July 16 at Clear Lake for a 1:30 p.m. start.
