Question: I know you’ve wrote about regulatory and warning type signs before. Can you write about what some of the other signs when it comes to services and guidance?
Answer: I sure can. There are several types of signs for people using the highways and roads. Here are some more examples:
Historic, Cultural, and Recreational Signs
Brown signs point out historic sites, parks, and other points of interest.

Motorist Services Signs
Blue signs direct you to services such as telephones, gas, food, motels, hospitals and rest areas.

Guidance and Information Signs
Green signs indicate exits, distance to cities, interstates interchanges, street or route names, and bicycle routes.
