Former Hornet student/athlete Wyatt Windhorst is showing that hard work, dedication and a bright outlook on life can propel just about anyone to proud achievements.

Windhorst, a graduate of BLHS in 2021, is currently in his second year as a medical student at the University of Minnesota Medical School in Duluth. Following graduation from Big Lake, Windhorst went to Mount Marty University, played basketball, and graduated with a B.A. in two years in 2023. From there, he went to the University of South Dakota for one year and graduated with a M.S. in Biomedical Sciences.
