Passed away on 5/31/22. Preceded in death by nephew Elliot Olson; and father Lester Olson. Survived by mother Phyllis (Knutson) Olson; siblings Harlan (Julie) Olson, Mark Olson, Bryan (Nancy) Olson, and Duane (Chiaki) Olson; nieces & nephews Tonya, Tia, Terra, Erik, Paul, Joel, Kristin, Karen, Eddie, and Albert; several great-nieces & nephews; many cousins; and other relatives & friends. Bill had a great artistic ability and loved to decorate. He was also known for his skill as a talented gift wrapper.  He was fantastic at working with flowers. Grey Face Rescue & Retirement, a dog rescue for elderly and unwanted dogs, was something Bill was passionate about. He had adopted and loved many dogs from there. Playing cards, and cribbage were enjoyable to Bill. He also loved admiring the beauty of God’s creation and all of nature. Bill had a contagious laugh that would fill the room with laughter. He was a passionate University of Georgia Bulldogs fan, representing them anyway he could with bumpers stickers and many other items. A memorial service to honor Bill will be held on Wednesday, 6/8/22 at 11AM with visitation 1 hour prior to service at Becker Baptist Church, 11951 Hancock Street, Becker.
