Shirley Harris, age 83 passed away at her home in Big Lake on Monday, July 26, 2021.

Born June 9, 1938 to Lyle Sr and Dora Christensen.  Shirley was a unique and caring individual who lived life her way and touched the lives of all who knew her.

Shirley’s talents and interests were many, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and an extremely accomplished seamstress.  She loved spending time in her flower garden, playing cards (especially when she would win!), and making Christmas presents for her family.  This included a yearly calendar for everyone complete with family pictures, birthdays, and anniversaries.  She was the owner/operator of Advanced Styling beauty Salon in the Big Lake/Monticello area for 20 plus years.  She cared a lot for her clients, often providing transportation for those who couldn’t drive or going to their homes of they were too sick to come to the Salon.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Willie Sr, step-son Larry (Shirley) Harris of Fort Morgan, CO, sons: Willie Jr (Bonnie) Harris of Magnolia, TX; Wes (Dianne) Harris of Brooklyn Center, MN; Bruce (Lynn) Harris of Solway, MN, and daughter Sharrie (Rick) Paulson of Phillips, WI, 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 4 sisters, 3 brothers, numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters.
