Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 26 at St. Marcus Catholic Church, Clear Lake for Ruth E. Dechaine, age 90, who passed away Wednesday at her daughter’s home in Bagley. Rev. Virgil Helmin and Rev. John Cox will con-celebrate and burial will be at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services Tuesday at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Clear Lake.

 

Ruth was born June 30, 1924 in Minneapolis to Abel & Eva (May) Anderson. She married Allen Dechaine on Feb. 14, 1946. Ruth was a homemaker and also worked at Honeywell as a factory worker during WWII. She was a member of St. Marcus Catholic Church. Ruth enjoyed going out to lunch, reading, sewing, and visiting with friends. She spent 62 years enjoying the lake life on Briggs Lake.

 

Survivors include her children, Nancy (David) Johnson of Bagley, Roger (Mary) of Duluth and Timothy of Corpus Christi, TX; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Allen in 1985; and brother, Harold Anderson.
