Preceded in death by parents Arzella (Johnson) & Clarence Lambert; son Todd Roger Lambert; and sister-in-law, Judie Lambert. Survived by wife of 52 years, Susan (Gunderson) Lambert; children, Carol (Doug) Frederick, and Mike (Amber) Lambert; grandchildren, Mikayla, Mackenzie, Paige, Paisley, Palmer, and Paityn; siblings Eugene Lambert, Laurene (Richard) Baumgartner and Robert (Audrie) Lambert; and other relatives & friends. Buck was born on April 1, 1944, in Elk River and passed away on August 31, 2021, in Minneapolis. He grew up on a farm and enjoyed working with his Grandpa Archie. He graduated from Princeton High School in 1962. He was drafted and served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam and received several medals for his service. He married Susan in 1968. He was a hard worker and spent 25 years as a Machine Operator at Bishman Manufacturing in Osseo. Buck enjoyed tinkering and fixing things. He had a talent for using the parts he had on hand and people could rely on Buck to fix nearly anything. He enjoyed mowing the lawn and working on lawn mowers and cars. He liked to sit and have a beer while fixing things in his garage. Buck was a quiet man, who liked to help others. He was independent and didn’t like to accept or ask for help. He loved to spoil the grandkids and give them rides on his trailer behind the lawnmower.
Visitation for Buck will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Sunday, September 5, 2021, at Peterson-Grimsmo Funeral Chapel, 250 Broadway, Monticello and one hour prior to service at church. Funeral service 11 a.m., Monday, September 6, 2021, at Saron Lutheran Church, 311 Lake St. South, Big Lake. Interment Orrock Cemetery. Arr. by Peterson-Grimsmo Funeral Chapel. 763-295-2918.
