BIG LAKE, MN

FEBRUARY 13, 1938 – FEBRUARY 23, 2021

Robert (Bob) passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 23 at Monticello Care Center in Monticello, MN.

Robert (Bob) was born on February 13, 1938 in Pine City, MN to Arnold and Ella  (Marquardt) Patzoldt.  The family owned a farm in Pine City, MN. Bob attended training at Dunwoody Academy for auto mechanics.  He then worked at the Reserve Mine in Babbot for 2 years before he worked for Great River Energy in Elk River as an auto mechanic.  After he retired in 2000, Bob worked part time jobs driving a shuttle for a local car dealer and delivering parts for O'Reilly Auto Parts until he permanently retired at the age of 79.

Bob enjoyed working on cars, spending time with family, reading, and watching football.  In Bob’s younger years he also enjoyed ice fishing, pheasant and deer hunting with his brothers.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Ella; daughter, Bonnie Givens;

brother, Harold Patzoldt; sister, Judy Patzoldt; sister-in-law Dorothy Patzoldt, and brother-in-law, Bruce Nelson.

He will be forever missed by his beloved wife of fifty-seven years; Margie (Campbell) Patzoldt, son, Lorne (Debbie) Patzoldt, and daughters, Colleen Patzoldt, Cindy (Jim) Salisbury; Jessica  Nadeau, grandchildren Amanda, Jacob, Grant (Maranda), Rachel, Courtney, Alicia, Nicole and Tyler, great grandchildren Laniah, Marley, and Faith, brother, Arnie Patzoldt; Gene (Bev) Patzoldt; David Patzoldt; Dennis Patzoldt; sister, Ellen Patzoldt; sister-in-law, Janet Nelson; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

A private memorial will be at Svea Hill Cemetery in Big Lake in the spring 2021.
