Mary Agnes “Babe” Imholte

Mass of Christian Burial was Fri., Oct. 6 at St. Marcus Catholic Church, Clear Lake for Mary Agnes “Babe” Imholte, age 88, who passed away Monday at the St. Cloud Hospital as the result of an automobile accident. Rev. Virgil Helmin officiated and burial was in the parish cemetery. Visitation was Thursday and prior to the services Friday at St. Marcus Catholic Church. Parish prayers were Thursday at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Clear Lake.
 
Mary was born August 25, 1929 in St. Paul to Bernard & Rose (Gohman) Woebkenberg. She married Alfred Imholte on October 25, 1947 at St. Marcus Catholic Church in Clear Lake. Mary was a homemaker and also worked on the family farm. She was a member of St. Marcus Catholic Church. Mary enjoyed shopping, coloring, collecting and saving items for memories, playing cards with her friends, and spending time with her family. She loved desserts and sweets. Mary was a very strong woman who was spunky, loving, independent, self-sufficient and outspoken.
 
Survivors include her children, Mavis Flowers of Annandale, Myron Imholte (Connie Peterson) of Glenwood, Marsha (Steve) Schrader of Annandale, Mitch (Marlene) Imholte of South Haven, Melody Imholte (Larry Schmidt) of Annandale and Monica (Brad) Anderson of Deer Lodge, MT; daughters-in-law, Lila Imholte of Clear Lake, Yoko Imholte of St. Cloud, Brenda Imholte of Big Lake; sister-in-law, Joanne Imholte of Monticello; 43 grandchildren, 81 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
 
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alfred; sons, Mark and Marvin; infant daughter, Lorraine; infant sons, Mathew and Martin; sons-in-law, James Flowers and Bob Beck; siblings, Rosemary Campbell, Jerome Woebkenberg, Lorraine Yaritz, Ruth Romine and Paul Woebkenberg; granddaughter, Sarah Imholte; and great grandson, Xaine Schrader.
