Marjorie Agatha Stuhr was born March 13, 1941 in St. Cloud, Minnesota to James and Appolonia (Lardy) Gillitzer. At the age of 7, Marge moved with her family to Bass Lake, near Annandale, where they owned and operated Gillitzer Resort. Marge attended school in Annandale, where she graduated with the Class of 1959. On June 4, 1960, she was united in marriage to John H. Stuhr at St. Ignatius. They briefly lived in the Minneapolis area, before returning to Bass Lake, and eventually purchasing the resort her parents once owned, running it as Bass Lake Resort. In addition to raising her family, Marge worked for Lake Central Bank, Clearwater branch, as a teller for 20+ years, retiring in October of 2016 at the age of 75.  She also previously worked 20+ years at Carlson Dolls in Maple Lake.  In her spare time Marge enjoyed reading, playing cards, and pontoon rides. She delighted in her many years of living on Bass Lake, and especially loved to make memories with her family while on the lake. Marge treasured the time she was able to spend with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchild.

Marge is survived by her children, Lynn (Marty Goblowsky) Stuhr of Anchorage, Alaska; Bill Stuhr of Buffalo, and Jean (Lonn) Just of Annandale; 4 grandchildren, Jesse Just, Tommy Pulley, Chase Stuhr, and Sami Just; 1 great granddaughter, Kinsley Stuhr; siblings, Eileen Amsden of Ormond Beach, FL, Sylvan & Joyce Gillitzer of Annandale, and Donna Nelson of Burnsville; and many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
