Marilyn was bon July 25,1927 to Joseph and Ruth Bowman of Buffalo, MN. She graduated from Buffalo High School in 1945. She attended Minneapolis Business College where she met Henning Johansen, whom she married in 1966. She lived in the Buffalo area most of her life, moving to Clearwater after Henning’s death. She entered the Annandale Skilled Nursing Care Center in Jan. 2019. Marilyn died August 21 at the St. Cloud Hospital at the age of 94.

She was a life-long member of Buffalo Presbyterian Church and a 75-year member of Galilee Chapter #53 of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Ernest (Dud) Bowman of Silver Bay, and husband, Henning. She is survived by sons Ralph Johansen (Kitty) and Ron Johansen of Clearwater.

Services will be held Sunday, August 29 at 2 PM at the Buffalo Presbyterian Church.
