Services will be private for Lynne L. and Darold D. Seehafer. Lynne passed away Friday, December 4, 2020 at the Gardens at Foley Care Center and Darold passed away Thursday, December 3, 2020 at the St. Cloud Hospital. Arrangements have been entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Becker.
Lynne was born March 26, 1938 in Brainerd to Carl & Dorothy (Lougee) Rakow. She married Darold Seehafer on June 28, 1958 in Little Falls. Lynne enjoyed helping others by cleaning homes and volunteering at the Big Lake School assisting with vision and hearing screening and the lunch program. In addition, Lynne was an active member of Snake River Church and the PTA. She enjoyed being around kids, polka music, dancing, being outdoors, and adored spending time with her family. Her loved ones will continuously remember her generosity, hard work ethic, outgoing personality, sense of humor, and the joy she received from helping other people.
Darold was born June 10, 1935 in Royalton to Anton & Erna (Shultz) Seehafer. He grew up in Royalton and was a hard-working man who loved being outside. Darold worked on the family farm factory work in the cities, Buffalo Broom Factory and retired from Industrial Hardfacing in Elk River. He enjoyed gardening, yard work, fishing, being outside, holiday gatherings and like Lynne, received great joy from helping others. Together, they had a strong faith and loved their church family greatly. Darold’s loved ones will continuously remember his work ethic and how proud he was of his family.
Survivors include their daughters, Debra (Scott) Stach and Dorothy (Steve) Moores; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren. Lynne’s brother, Bruce (Margie) Rakow; and sisters-in-law, Cathleen and Theresa Rakow. Darold’s siblings, Gordon (Marcy), Delmar (Bobbie), Elaine (Jim) Berquist, Marlys Marquart, and Delores (John) Sobania. Lynne was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Gary, Bradley, and Ronald; infant brother David; and aunt, Thelma. Darold was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Arletta Kaufenberg and Beatrice Brousseau; and brothers, Stanley and David.
