Kristine Evelyn Matson, age 68, of Sartell, MN, passed away on Sat., Oct. 29, 2016, at County Manor Villa, in Sartell, where she had resided since May of 2015. Prior to that she had been a resident at Quiet Oaks Hospice House, St. Augusta and in Columbia Heights. She was a member of Salem Covenant Church in New Brighton, MN. She had been employed by Determan Brownie, as an Administrative Credit and Collection Specialist in Fridley.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents Karl and Evelyn Matson, and is survived by sister Kathryn Keen, Cambridge; Karolyn (Jim) Boucher, Clearwater; and brother John Matson of Galesville, WI, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.  Plus, an extended circle of friends from Quiet Oaks and Country Manor. A memorial service was Fri., Nov. 11, at County Manor Chapel, with a visitation followed by a memorial service. Another memorial is planned for the spring of 2017, at her beloved First Presbyterian Church in Willow River where she grew up, with interment at nearby Sunnyside Cemetery.
