James Lawrence Eiynck

James Lawrence Eiynck, age 69, passed away on Thursday August 29, 2019 in a tragic accident at work.  He was born April 26, 1950 in St. Cloud MN, to Lawrence and Marie (Kerfeld) Eiynck. He graduated from Albany High School in 1968.  Jim went on to learn the trade of plumbing & heating from his dad and continued to run Eiynck Plumbing and Heating in Albany for many years. Jim was married to the love of his life Louise Smith Eiynck on July 10, 1971.  Together, they raised one daughter, Ericka, who was always his pride and joy. Jim gained a wonderful son in law, Mike Goebel and from this marriage, three amazing grandchildren, Landen (16), Alexis (16) and Layton (4).  Throughout his 48 years of marriage Jim and Louise enjoyed traveling together and exploring many different beautiful places.  In their younger years, they enjoyed snowmobiling, downhill skiing, water skiing, scuba diving, and spending time with friends.  In most recent years, they spent their time cheering on their grandchildren at every sporting event and sharing their love of the water and the outdoors up north at their cabin. Not only was Jim an amazing husband he was the BEST dad, grandpa and father in law anyone could ask for.  He was the greatest role model for his family and was always there to support them. He was their rock!  Jim was known to always try and make you smile or crack a joke to make people laugh.

Jim and Louise have owned Becker Fireplace Center in Becker for the last 21 years.  His hard work, ethic and ability to connect with customers is a quality he will be remembered by.  To honor Jim and the wonderful man he was, there will be a Celebration of Life at Becker Fireplace Center (12912 1stStreet Becker, MN 55308) on Sunday September 29, 2019 from 11-3.  Jim always wanted to have family gatherings at the store because he was very proud of the family business. To honor that wish, please stop by to remember and celebrate a man that was one of a kind and one who will be greatly missed by all who knew him!

The family of Jim Eiynck kindly asks that if possible, you would bring a written memory or photograph of Jim to leave for the family at the Celebration of Life on September 29th
