On Thursday, September 16, 2021, Ida Mae Zahler, loving wife and wonderful mother of seven children, passed away at the age of 92.
Ida was born on January 4, 1929, in Buffalo, MN to John and Clara Kingelhoets. She married Alvin Nicholas Zahler on November 3, 1948, they were married for 73 years and had one son and six daughters.
Ida was a social butterfly, and a ray of sunshine to all who had the privilege of knowing her. She loved dancing, music, painting, baking and cross stitching.
Ida was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers: Jerry, Ivan and Jim, son Jerry and her granddaughter Krista Ambers. She is survived by her husband Alvin, six daughters: Carol, Sandy (LeRoy), Cheryl, Lynn (Robin), Shelly, Susan (Scott), grandchildren, great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren.
Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, October 9th at the Clearwater Legion in Clearwater, MN from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.
