Harold Jenson

Harold Jenson, 82, of Foley died Friday, September 15 at his home. Memorial services was Thurs., Sept. 21 at New Life Church, Foley. Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM at New Life Church with a Time of Sharing at 6:00 PM. Service with Dignity provided by Foley Funeral Home.
 
Harold Dean Jenson was born August 6, 1935 in Glendorado Twp., the son of Albert and Anna (Skiba) Jenson. He graduated from Foley High School in 1953 and entered the United States Air Force. On April 17, 1957, he was united in marriage with June Davis in Austin, Texas. The couple moved back to Benton County in 1958 to farm and raise their family. Harold worked construction and was a backhoe operator for C.S. McCrossan for over 35 years.  He retired in 1997.  He was a member of the Local 49ers Union, the International Union of Operating Engineers, and New Life Church. Farming was Harold's favorite hobby, along with spending winters in Texas with June.  Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers.
 
Harold is survived by his wife, June, of Foley; children:  Robin (Joel) Anderson of Fridley, Sandy Jenson of Princeton, Harold 'Dean' Jr. (Tammy) of Duelm, and Todd of St. Cloud; 11 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; sisters:  Lorraine Moore of Sauk Rapids and Judy Stofflet of Sauk Rapids; as well as many other relatives and friends.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Bernice Kampa, and brother, Jerry Jenson.
