Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 11, 2019 at Faith Lutheran Church of Becker for Glenn E. Leerhoff, age 90, who passed away Monday at Guardian Angels by the Lake Senior Living in Elk River. Rev. Dr. Yolanda Denson-Byers will officiate and burial will be in the Becker Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services Monday at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Becker.
Glenn was born April 27, 1929 in Clarksville, IA to Detmer & Amelia (Nordland) Leerhoff. He served our country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. Glenn married Ruth Macho on June 16, 1951 in Fosston, MN. He lived in the Becker area for over 50 years and worked as a Technician for Minnegasco, retiring in 1984. Glenn was a very active member of Faith Lutheran Church. He enjoyed woodworking, snowmobiling, dancing, his hobby farm, and spending time with his grandchildren. Glenn loved music and was musically talented. He was compassionate, outgoing, and had a strong faith. Glenn was proud of his service in the Air Force, and loved his wife dearly.
Survivors include his son and daughter, Timothy (Mary Ann) Leerhoff of Ramsey and Vicki (John Falenschek) Leerhoff of Monticello; grandchildren, Rebecca (Ira) Darlington, Daniel (Kadi) Leerhoff, Nikoli (Maggie) Falenschek, and Ashley (Steven Hoff) Falenschek; great grandchildren, Owen, Lizzie, and Amelia; and many nieces and nephews. Glenn was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ruth in 2008; brother, Victor; and sisters, Evelyn, Leola, and Eva Jane.
