Frederick Steve Luoma 76, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, February 18 after the Daytona 500.  He was born on April 18, 1941 in Litchfield, MN to William and Elida Luoma.  

 

He was preceded in death by his wife Donna in 2013, his parents, brothers Douglas, Harvey, Felix, Ronny and sister Lila Violet.

 

Survived by daughters Jody (Paul) Goenner of Clear Lake, Jamie (Brian) Fisher of Monticello, grandsons Ben Fisher and Austin Goenner, sister in laws Mary Luoma and Caroline Luoma and many nieces and nephews. 

 

Fred enjoyed racing and repairing cars, horses, snowmobiling, farming, horseshoes, bird watching, and having a Bud Light with the guys in the garage.  

 

There will be a celebration of Fred’s life on Saturday, Mar. 10, from 2:00-6:00 p.m. at his home.  The address is 13143 State Highway 24 NW, South Haven, MN  55382.
