Emma Durgin, 89, quietly passed away at the home she shared with her husband of 66 years, Willard H. Durgin.
Over the years, her interests included needlework, birdwatching, etc., yet her greatest passion were her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She will be remembered for her kindness to others and her quick smile.
She is survived by her husband; her children: Pam (Robert) Larson, Christine Poe, Terrance (Bonnie) Durgin, and Timothy (Manal) Durgin; her grandchildren: Isaac (Jennifer) Larson, Anthony Poe, Crystal Larson, Tylor (Kendra) Durgin, Makia Durgin and Olivia Durgin; her great grandchildren: Hayden, Hudson, Aiden, Landen and Caleb; two sisters: Ginger Jacobson and Sally (Russ) Bell, and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents: Charles and Ada (Munson) Nelson, and two sons, Baby Boy Durgin and Walter Charles Durgin.
Emma will be cremated, with a quiet get-together at a later date. No funeral is planned.
Inexpressible thanks to Terrance, Bonnie and Makia for many years and hours of dedicated caregiving, making it possible for Emma to stay in her home until her passing.
