AGE 74, of Annandale, formerly of Becker, Minnesota, Kewaunee, Wisconsin, and Green Bay, Wisconsin, died Monday, April 27, 2020 at the Annandale Care Center, after a long battle with breast cancer.
Graveside Services will be held at a later date at Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn, New York.
Elizabeth Davis was born July 22, 1945 in Jersey City, New Jersey to Nathaniel and Gertrude (Hildebrand) Davis. Bette grew up in Jersey City, where she attended Lincoln High School, graduating in 1963. Bette was united in marriage to Paul Wolske in 1995 and he preceded her in death.
Bette lived in various countries around the world while working for GTE Government Systems before settling in Kewaunee, Wisconsin in 1986. She worked as a benefits specialist for Elderly Services in Kewaunee County in Wisconsin for many years. She also worked as a transportation specialist for the Red Cross in Green Bay, Wisconsin before retiring in 2010. Upon her retirement, Bette moved to Florida, then Becker, Minnesota to be closer to family. In her spare, Bette enjoyed crocheting, coloring, reading obituaries and working on the decor of her home.
Bette is survived by her children, Gail (Steve) Budd of Annandale, Minnesota and Greg Wright of Brandywine, Maryland; 3 grandchildren, Tori, Taylor, and Jack Budd; sister, Karen (Michael) Farley; and many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul Wolske; brother, Dennis Davis; and sister, Terri Tagerty.
