Memorial Services will be held 12:30 p.m. Sunday, June 17 at Rejoice Lutheran Church in Clearwater for Donald F. Niesche who passed away peacefully on Sunday surrounded by his loving family at his home. Pastor Jeff Sackett will officiate. Visitation will start at 11 a.m. at the church on Sunday. Arrangements are entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Homes. 
Donald F. Niesche was born on May 24, 1929, to Henry and Myrtle (Roman) Niesche in Wheaton. He married Elaine Tollefson on November 10, 1951 in Temple, TX. Donald proudly served our country from 1951-1953 in the United States Army. For most of his life, he worked for Graybow Daniels Plumbing and Heating Supply as an Order Filler. Donald was very active in his church at South Santiago for many years and volunteered for Meals on Wheels and Sherburne County as a Bailiff. He was also a former council member and was a part of the Briggs Lake Chain Association in Clear Lake. He enjoyed wood working, fishing, driving his golf cart, gardening vegetables, and traveling with his family. Donald was a fun, dependable man, who was proud of his family. Most importantly, he was a great Husband and Dad.
 
Survivors include, his wife Elaine; children, Patricia Niesche of Circle Pines, Debra (Bob) Freeh of Zimmerman, and Sandra Borchert of Ramsey; grandchildren, Kristin (Andrew) Richardson, Christopher (Marilynn) Freeh, Jonathan (Josie Evans) Niesche, Adam (Melinda) Freeh, and Brianna (Nate) Lintner; six great grandchildren; sister, Coralie (Richard) Engle of Little Falls; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his infant brother; parents; grandson, Jeremy Borchert; and sister, Dolores Olson.
