DOLORES A. GAVIN, 82

SARTELL, MN

NOVEMBER 13, 1937 – OCTOBER 16, 2020

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at Mary of the Visitation Catholic Church in Becker, for Dolores A. Gavin, 82 of Sartell who passed away on Friday, October 16, 2020 at Country Manor Health Care and Retirement Center in Sartell. Rev. Michael Kellogg will officiate and burial will be at the parish cemetery in Becker. Friends and relatives may visit one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Arrangements are entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Becker.

Dolores was born on November 13, 1937 in Baldwin Township to Wilbur J. and Allie (Bruse) Lemmon. She married Arthur T. Gavin on December 29, 1956 in Sauk Rapids. Dolores worked at various jobs throughout her life and retired at the age of 62. She loved trips to the casino, playing games (especially Rummikub and Bingo) and putting together jigsaw puzzles. Dolores also loved to take road trips and see the sights. She was a devoted wife, mom and grandma, spending countless hours with her children and grandchildren. Dolores will always be remembered for her kind and caring, yet feisty personality. Dolores will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her children, Irene (Earl) Schoenberg of Sartell, Laura Walstein of Sartell, Barb (Bob) Gadbois of Eden Prairie, Tracy (Jim Passe) Gavin-Passe of Hopkins, Tom Gavin of Sartell and Russell (Kim) Gavin of Staples; ten grandchildren; one great grandchild; and sister, Marie Kern of Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Arthur; son, Gary; granddaughter, Alexandra; sisters, Esther Johnson, Dorothy Peterson and Ethel Wickner; and brother, Wilbur Lemmon.
