Dennis C. Leikvoll, 71-year-old resident of Clear Lake, passed away Thurs., July 26 at the St. Cloud Hospital. A funeral service was held Thurs., Aug. 2, at the Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls, David Sperstad officiated. Visitation was prior to the service at the Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls.

 

Denny passed away peacefully July 26 at 10:05 a.m. Survived by his wife; Christine Leikvoll (Martin), Children; Michael (Micky) Leikvoll, Melissa (Missy) Leikvoll, Scott (Scottie) Leikvoll, Tonya (Paul) Griffore, Donald Yamauchi, Alanna (Sergio) Ambriz, Kimberly (Mohamed) Bounanni. Siblings; Karen (John Kimman) Newcomb, Bonnie (Gary) Kreuger, as well as several grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

 

Denny grew up working at his dad’s gas station. He enlisted in the Army May 23, 1966 and was honorably discharged on May 22, 1969. Denny retired from BNSF in 2000 after 31 years of work. He spent 34 wonderful years with his wife and best friend Chris.

 

Denny is preceded in death by parents Clarence and Verna Leikvoll, grandson Joseph Donald Anderson, and brother-in-law Les Newcomb.
