Cynthia "Cindy" A. Hansen, Age 65

MAGNOLIA, TX (FORMERLY CLEAR LAKE, MN)

APRIL 26, 1956 – JUNE 4, 2021

A Graveside Service will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 10, 2021 at St. Marcus Catholic Cemetery in Clear Lake for Cynthia Ann Hansen, 65, who passed away peacefully on June 4, 2021, surrounded by loved ones at her side in Conroe, Texas. Rev. Joseph Backowski will officiate. Arrangements have been entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Clear Lake.

Cindy was born on April 26, 1956, in Monticello, Minnesota. Cindy married her high school sweetheart, Donald Hansen on April 12, 1975, in Clear Lake, Minnesota. Everyone who knew her knew that she loved her family and grandchildren. Her heart was full of love and her passion for helping others was transparent. Cindy loved being outdoors, whether she was at a ballgame, fishing, hunting or just enjoying the scenery with family.

Cindy embraced her unwavering catholic faith and was a member of St. Annes Catholic Church in Tomball, Texas.  She worked for Sigma Fasteners for many years and was loved and respected by her co-workers. Cindy was the glue that held her family together.  She was always taking care of others, cooking with her grandchildren, and always finding joy in making sure her family was taken care of. Sharing her recipes, teaching the women in her family to cook always lead to a house full of a comforting aroma. Cindy fought a long, hard battle with cancer, but not before instilling all she could into her family.  She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend to many.

She leaves behind her loving husband of 46 years, Donald Hansen of Magnolia, Texas; her two sons, Brent Hansen and wife Amie of Warrensburg, Missouri and Thomas Hansen and wife Melissa of Lake Jackson, Texas; four grandchildren; Kirstin Hansen (21), Camren Hansen (18), Kadynce Hansen (14) and Gabrielle Hansen (12).  Cindy had three sisters, Kathy Kujawa and husband George, Diane Hays, and Christine Folkenson and husband Larry; three brothers, Gary Toenjes and wife Tami, Cyril Toenjes and wife Vickie, and Mike Toenjes and wife Janet. She also leaves behind her stepmother Marjorie Toenjes. She is preceded in death by her mother, Deloris Toenjes; father, George Toenjes; and son, Jesse Hansen.
