Visitation will be from 2:00-5:00 p.m. Sunday, May 2, 2021 at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Becker for Carol Jean VanHeel, age 70, of St. Cloud who died Friday at the St. Cloud Hospital. Masks will be required and social distancing observed.
Carol was born in Minneapolis to Clyde & Patricia (Quay) Wallin. She married Daniel M. VanHeel in Mound, MN. Carol was a C.P.A. and lived in the Minneapolis area until moving to St. Cloud 15 years ago. She was a master gardener who enjoyed volunteering at Quiet Oaks Hospice House and Friends of Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge. She served on the Sherburne County Historical Museum Board and was actively involved in the Becker Chamber. Carol also liked reading, golfing, and puzzles. She was friendly, intelligent, outgoing and had a great sense of humor.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Daniel of St. Cloud; sister, Barbara (David) Bode of Cross Lake; niece and nephews, Lesley, Jacob, Christopher and Peter. She was preceded in death by her parents.
