Bernie Rosen died peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family Sat., Nov. 16, 2013.Bernie, formerly of Becker, MN., was born Dec. 14, 1942 in Grey Eagle, MN, the son of the late Paul and Joanne (Walsh) Rosen. He was educated in the schools of MN. He married the love of his life, Jeanne A. Ott on Aug. 12, 1967. Bernie was a proud union member of the United Union of Roofers, Water Proofers, and Allied Workers Local 96 of MN. Bernie moved to Pleasant Prairie 18 years ago to live with his daughter and her family. He enjoyed his grandson’s, his classic cars, his koi pond, woodworking and old country music. Bernie will be greatly missed by his daughters, Dawn (Kelly) Colford of Pleasant Prairie, Denise (Sam) Emrick of Eagan, MN; brothers, Pat (Darla) Rosen of Anoka, MN, Ronald Rosen of CO, James Rosen of Waite Park, MN; a sister, Margaret (Jay) Clark; grandchildren, Ben, Andrew and Colton; many nieces and nephews; and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanne in 2003, brothers, Raymond, a brother, Jerome in infancy and sisters, Mary and Delores. A visitation was held Weds., Nov. 20, 2013 at Kenosha Funeral Services from 4-6 p.m., funeral services followed at 6 p.m.Kenosha Funeral Services & Crematory 8226 Sheridan Rd.
