Tony passed away on February 7, 2021 at Hope Hospice in Lehigh Acres, FL with his loving mother at his side.
Tony is survived by his children – daughter Taylor and son August of Fargo, ND. His mother Catherine (Phipps) Stauffer of Labelle, FL. Brother Reed Stauffer of Winnebago, MN, niece Avera Stauffer and sister Callie Laska of Fargo, ND.
Survived also by his father Bruce Anderson, brothers Jason and Wyatt Anderson, sister Courtney, and his grandmother Marilyn Anderson.
Tony is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins on both sides of his family.
Tony had many, many friends, so many of them for a lifetime. Others for only a short while. He was always meeting new people with his friendly and open personality. Tony was fun loving, comical, kind and generous. He genuinely cared about people. He was very compassionate and had a HUGE heart.
Tony’s main career path was driving Semi. He had experienced over the road, hauling gravel and pulling gas and oil tankers.
The LOVE of Tony’s life were his children, he spoke of them often. His need to get back to Fargo and to them.
A memorial service is being held in Tony’s honor and in his loving memory at the American Legion, 304 Elm St. in Monticello on June 12th at 1:00pm with a luncheon immediately following.
