Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Sat., Dec. 7, 2013 at Grace Lutheran Church in Becker for Anthony R. Nelson, age 17, who passed away Monday as a result of an automobile accident.  Rev. Dave Johnson will officiate.  Visitation was 4-8 p.m. Friday at Grace Lutheran Church and one hour prior to the services Saturday also at the church.  There will be a time of sharing to conclude the visitation on Friday.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Becker.

 

Anthony was born Nov. 21, 1996 in Princeton to Nicholas and Rachel (Dube) Nelson.  He was currently a junior at Becker High School.  Anthony was a member of Grace Lutheran Church where he was involved in Children’s Ministry, JUMP Program, and youth group.  He was a wide receiver and safety on the Becker football team and a member of the Becker basketball team.  Anthony enjoyed going to the community center to work out and shoot hoops with his brothers and hanging out with his friends.  He was always smiling and loved to make people laugh.  He was very respectful and genuine, and family traditions were very important to him.

 

Survivors include his parents, Nick and Rachel Nelson of Becker; brothers, Jake and Ryan of Becker; grandparents, Craig and Liz Nelson of Anoka, Alan & Penny Ross of Elk River, and Jerome and Cindy Dube of St. Francis; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.
