Alphonse Stanley Jarnot

Alphonse Stanley Jarnot passed away Wed. August 15 at Fairview Northland Hospital in Princeton. He was born August 4, 1938 in Avon. To Theodore and Frances (Pyka) Jarnot.
 
AI was an avid hunter, fisherman and trapper. He was contracted many times by the DNR to trap nuisance beaver. He farmed in the Santiago area for 10 years before moving to Blue Hill Township in 1981. AI found great enjoyment driving around the neighborhood looking for wildlife, checking crops and stopping to visit friends.
 
He is survived by his son James Jarnot of Colorado Springs, CO; daughter Kathy Jarnot of Princeton; daughter Mary (Tom) Dillon of Gillette, WY; son Joseph Jarnot of Princeton; sister Angeline Lewicki of Isle; sister Adelia Wallack of Royalton; 10 grandchildren; 6 greatgrandchildren and several nieces & nephews.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter-in-law Terry. As per his wishes, Alphonse's remains have been gifted to the University of Minnesota Anatomy Bequest Program.
 
A celebration of his life will be held Fri. Sept. 7, from 4-7 at the Civic Center in Princeton.
