Alma Lucille Petersen, 97, of Clear Lake, MN died peacefully on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at her home.  

A private memorial is planned at Trinity Lutheran Church, Clear Lake, with Reverend Joshua Reber presiding. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Sauk Rapids, Minnesota.  

Alma was born February 23, 1928, in Fair Haven, Minnesota, to William and Meta (Bartell) Truenow. She married Diner Petersen on April 10, 1948, at Concordia Lutheran Church in Fair Haven. She retired from White Consolidated Industries in 1990, where she worked as a line worker. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Clear Lake. Alma was dedicated to the Lord and her family.  

Survivors include daughters, Marian (Robert) Riggert of Aztec, NM; Joan (Jim) Moncur, Roseville, MN; Jenifer (Wally) Zipf, Clear Lake MN; Susan (Chris) Klippen, Clear Lake, MN; 7 grandchildren, Justin, Aaron, Kirsten, Kate, Sara Meggan, Jennifer, and Jameson; and 9 great-grandchildren.  

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Diner; parents; sister, Lillian Wolf; brothers, Walter Truenow and William Truenow, Jr.; and 3 infant sisters.  

Alma will be missed, but the loving memory of her will remain with us.
