Irving Berlin’s White Christmas, performed by Becker students in the Performing Arts Center, is right around the corner as the cast, crew and production teams start fine-tuning the show.
This week, the cast donned their costumes and went through dress rehearsals and on Wednesday they posed for photographs from Chris Lommel.
White Christmas tells the story of a song-and-dance team putting on a show in a magical Vermont inn and falling for a stunning sister act in the process. The production is full of dancing, laughter and some of the greatest songs ever written.
The play is directed by Joe Rand with Gretchen Bordson as the musical director.
The dates of the productions are Fri., Dec. 1 at 7 p.m.; Sat., Dec. 2 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.; Sun., Dec. 3 at 2 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at the door or online at: https://app.arts-people.com/index.php?show=80575. Cost is $10 and senior citizens, students and military personnel with an ID is $8 and pre-schoolers get in free.
The main cast includes Blake Paulson as Bob Wallace, William Schendel as Phil Davis and Samantha Pounds as Betty Haynes. Grace Jacobsen plays the role of Judy Haynes.
