BUNNY HOP. Rabbits were on display at the Sherburne County Fair last Thursday, but the poultry barn was silent this year due to the bird flu epidemic in the state.
COOLING OFF. Riders cooled their show horses with a much-appreciated hose bath at the Sherburne County Fair last Thursday.
NEW RECRUIT. Marines assisted this young lady as she performed a "pull-up" exercise at the U.S. Marine Corps. display at the Sherburne County Fair last week.
CONSERVATION. Conservationist Gina Hugo looked on as a young lady played a game of "Pollinator Plinko" at the Sherburne Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) exhibit at the Sherburne County Fair last Friday. The display also included a practical rain garden at the SWCD's new site on the fairgrounds.
HOOPS. Dean-O-Mite DJ had the kids jumping through hoops as he entertained on the grounds at the Sherburne County Fair last Friday afternoon.
WATER WORKS. SWCD Dist. Mgr. Francine Larson had a question and a prize for water-savvy fair-goers at the Sherburne County Fair last week.
STOCK CLASS. Chris Moos pulled a distance of 225.2 feet in her first run in the stock tractor class Saturday at the Sherburne County Fair. She drove an International Farm-All in the competition.
FIRST RUN. Scott Lefebvre opened the stock tractor competition at the Sherburne County Fair tractor pull Saturday, posting a run of 162.3 feet with his Canadian-made Cockshutt 30 model tractor.
THE NEW ROYALS. The Sherburne County Fair crowned a new brood of royals last Sunday afternoon at the close of the annual pageant.
