Two former Becker High School students were recently awarded scholarships at St. Cloud State University.
Sophomore Tyler Sandeen and junior Riley Bertram each received a $1,000 Minnie Boese Depuis Scholarship last Thursday.
Recipients of the scholarships must be incoming students demonstrating financial need. Preference is given to residents of Sherburne County or graduates of Becker High School.
St. Cloud State University is Minnesota's second-largest university, with more than 16,000 students and 200 programs of study. Culturally and academically diverse, St. Cloud State prepares graduates for the challenges of working and living in a global community.
