Trio finds cache in park, net 10 ounces of silver!

Real Life Treasure Hunt, LLC held a Season of Giving Business Treasure Hunt in last weekend to help promote local businesses in five communities and get people to patronize.

The hunt included seven businesses in the communities of Becker, Big Lake, Monticello, Buffalo and Elk River and involved “hunters” bringing clues to businesses to get leads to the “cache”.

The cache was 10 Troy ounces of silver!

A riddle posted on Facebook in the morning on Saturday kicked off the free treasure hunt in Buffalo. Hunters were asked to spend some time and money at each establishment to attain the next riddle leading to the next business and next clue. The seventh and final business gave out the final riddle leading to the silver cache.

After the cache was found, everyone else who completed the Business Scavenger Hunt were put into a drawing for the three remaining prizes, which was held Sunday night live on Real Life Treasure’s page.

The cache was found in the bark of a tree at an undisclosed park in Sherburne County. The finders were Annika, Tyler and Carrie and they were amongst five to six groups who were at the park looking for the treasure.

The next treasure hunt is scheduled for Feb. 13 in Anoka County. Go to the treasure hunt website at www.reallifetreasurehunt.com for registration and more information.
