Trail Of Treats A Success For All Ages

The Becker CIS 4607 Robotics team partnered with Faith Lutheran Church this fall to start a new Halloween tradition, Trail of Treats, an event that was formerly the Robotics team’s annual Truck or Treat event held in the parking lot of Becker Furniture World.

Saturday, around 25 businesses and organizations gathered their vehicles in the parking lot of Faith Lutheran Church and opened up their trunks for costumed kids to come by and collect treats.

To the delight of trick or treaters, the trunks and people passing out the treats at the event were also outfitted in fun Halloween fashion. The kids themselves were dressed in a huge array of costumes, from traditional princesses and witches to animals and superheroes.

Some of the young participants took their creativity to the next level to come up with unique costume ideas. Finland Kumpula and his brother, Jericho, were two of the many trick or treaters participating in the Trail of Treats. Finland thought up the idea for his ‘baby in a bathtub’ costume and his mom created it for him from things she had laying around the house.

Along with treats, the event also featured a costume contest, Haunted Hayrides and a bonfire complete with s’mores and hot chocolate.
