FACE PAINTING was a popular venue at the Becker Baptist carnival last Sunday as kids got to get just about anything they wanted painted on the cheeks, arms and foreheads.
CHURCH MEMBER NATHAN BUCHER (R) instructed a young shooter on how to aim his sponge dart gun at the target at last Sunday’s Becker Baptist carnival.
SPIN ART was enjoyed by dozens of little kids at the carnival and organizers had a clothes line to hand the works of art on while they dried in the afternoon sun.

Tons Of Fun At The Becker Baptist Annual Carnival

On a beautiful Sunday afternoon last weekend, members of the Becker Baptist Church coordinated their annual outdoor carnival on the grounds of the church.

The event was originally scheduled for Sept. 6 but moved to the following Sunday because of imminent weather.

The carnival featured games, a bungee challenge, Jacob’s Ladder, a rope climb, wrecking ball, bean bag toss, ring toss, fishing pond, basketball shoot, necklace engraving, spin art, inflatables, a shooting gallery and lots more!

The event was free to the public and the concession stand sold brats, corndogs, snowcones, caramel apples, chips, nachos and pop. They also ran a Carnival Cafe where guests could relax and enjoy some dessert and coffee.

They also held a raffle for two free gently-used bicycles.

The organizers of the carnival encouraged parents to accompany their children to the event so they could learn more about AWANA: Cubbies, Sparks, Truth & Training and fifth and sixth grade clubs. There was also information on GLOW Girls and B3 boys and Momentum Student Ministries for middle and high school youth groups.

The carnival went from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
