SUMMERTIME BY GEORGE. Clearwater residents Kris and Angie Crandall performed with the band Stone Road Weds. July 28th at Summertime by George. The event provides free live music from local and regional bands and also features local vendors, artisans and a kids zone for families to enjoy. The festival is held Wednesdays from 5 to 9 p.m. (music starts at 6:30) at Lake George in St. Cloud through August and is sponsored by St. Cloud Rotary. Stone Road band played country and rock music from the 80’s and 90’s. Band member Kris Crandall described the event as one of the hottest gigs he’s ever performed as the mercury climbed to almost 100 degrees.
