Parishioners and the community at large once again came out in large numbers for St. Luke’s Catholic Church’s Fall Parish Festival, an annual event held at the end of August each year.
Following the Sunday mass, this year’s festival included the Baskets from Heaven silent auction, country market, bingo, cake walk, games for the kids, face painting, fun competitions, and a DJ providing music and commentary throughout the afternoon. The much anticipated quilt auction was one of the highlights.
Guests at the event also had a lot to choose from when they were ready for refreshments, including an indoor dinner, food and beverage booths, and a beer stand.
Organizers extended thanks to those who donated items for the festival as well as parishioners who helped and the community for their support.
As always, all money raised by the fundraiser will go toward the parish building fund.
