The Holiday season got into high gear last weekend with another spectacular craft show put on by one of the local churches.
South Santiago Lutheran Church hosted a craft and bake sale last Saturday and had superb attendance. Over 300 people came through the doors of the church to see crafts of all types, baked goods, gift items and fresh greens from the 26 vendors on hand.
The lady congregants from the church were busy serving lunch, soups and drinks — as well as numerous delicious desserts. The proceeds from the church bake sale benefit a variety of local ministries including the women’s ministry outreach and quilting ministry projects.
Craft items included ceramics, woodworking, Christmas ornaments, floral displays, outdoor Christmas wreaths and fresh evergreen centerpieces, loomed rugs and dish towels, to name a few. Fresh-baked cookies, breads and other holiday goodies were available for purchase, along with canned goods and various other food items.
