Sherb. Co. Star News Photo Exhibit To Be Showcased At Sherb. History Center

14 photographs, culled from ‘vintage’ Sherburne County Star News photograph collection, are on exhibition at the Sherburne History center until May 23, 2015.

This small, temporary, exhibit shows the variety of photographs from the 1960s and 1970s recently donated to the Sherburne County Historical Society from the Elk River Star News.

All of the photographs are local in content, but some well-known local celebrities may be recognized by people of a ‘certain’ generation.  Visit the Sherburne History Center to view some wonderful photographs.

The Sherburne History Center is located at 10775 27th Avenue SE, Becker, MN 55308 and specializes in the history of Sherburne County through museum exhibitions, a reference library, an archives and a Legacy Trail with historic structures.  It is open Tuesday - Friday: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m., Saturday: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.  The Sherburne History Center is also currently showing the award winning exhibition: Life on the Edge.

The Front Page News exhibit will be shown through May 23, 2015.
